Call for Workshop Registration – Tamasha Festival 2019 (For Children and Adults)

Register yourself or your school to attend the intensive workshops by International and National eminent Trainers.

These workshops are for children, young adults, teachers, professionals and upcoming theatre directors

Rules & Regulation

– Seats are on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS (MAXIMUM SEATS IN EACH WORKSHOP IS 30)
– All registered individuals/schools/teachers are not confirmed until festival team send them email/call
– Date & Time of the workshop will be announced by festival Administration.
– Registered participants will have to attend the workshop on given date & time.
– The fee is non-refundable and have to submit within mentioned dates by the festival team
– All the Workshops will be of 2 hrs. Duration.
– Selected participants will be informed on rolling basis with Date & Time of workshop.
– Tamasha Team will provide you ENTRY TICKET after the payment
– Keep yous ID/CNIC/Student Cards with you to while coming to the workshop

Individual : A single person wants to attend workshop
Group/School Registration : A number of people from single school/group wants to attend

Workshop Fee 2000 RS /workshop/entry
Discounted fee : 1500 RS /workshop/entry

Discount applicable on 5+ entries from single school/group

“Introduction to Dance” by Bina Jawwad (Pakistan)
Recommended Age Group : 8+ (Children + Adults)

An introduction to the basic exercises of classical dance Kathak, folk dance and contemporary movement.

Costume : Comfortable Tights / Shirt, Trouser

WORKSHOP 2

“Storytelling for Changemakers” by Aurelie Salvaire (France)
Recommended Age Group: 12-18

Description:
Children like stories. Why and how of storytelling for children is the central idea of the workshop. What is the role of storytelling in the learning of children is the theme of this workshop.

WORKSHOP 3

Playing Games on Stage” by Zang Ningbei (China)
Recommended Age Group: 10+ (young and adults)

Description:
Playing drama game with kids to experience emotion,feeling and collaboration

WORKSHOP 4

Movement Theatre” by M. Safeer (Sri Lanka)
Recommended Age Group: 18+
14 April 2019

Description:
Theatre forms and movement theatre Stats with a brief description of the theatre architecture  models available in the world at present. Move on to the theatres and will give definition for movement theatre, and end up with how the actor uses the rhythm of body, music and concept without using dialogue

WORKHOP 5

Storytelling in Motion” by Gillian Rhodes  (USA)
Recommended Age Group: 15+

The Workshop will focus on storytelling, expressive movement, and choreography and usage of space, movement and energy to tell poignant and powerful stories
