2nd Next Generation Program 2019 – For Pakistani Participants

ASSITEJ Pakistan is committed in engaging young aspiring artists and professional theatre-makers from all over the Pakistan interested in TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences).
The Next Generation Programme offer new opportunities every year and include Group Residency Programmes and Individual Placements. The programme is designed to create new opportunities for learning and to enable international exchange and collaboration between local young emerging artists.
If you are an emerging artist, storyteller or theatre-maker with an interest in TYA from Pakistan; this is the opportunity for you to learn, work and collaborate with international artists as well as experience the 2nd edition of Tamasha Festival in the beautiful city of Lahore – the cultural art hub of Pakistan.
In this program selected 15 local participants would be working with 15+ international young theatre makers for one week to co-create a performance to perform at 2nd Tamasha Festival 2019.

If you are an emerging artist from Pakistan aged 18-35 with a passion for storytelling or theatre-making along with a track record of making a significant impact in your community, country or organization then you could be part of the upcoming Next Generation programme.

International Artists Coming for NG Residency Workshop 2019
She graduated in Acting from Folkwang Academy of Arts Bochum. She has work history in theatre at; 2017-2018 DER PROZESS – dance theatre following Franz Kafka, Zeche 1 Bochum, ÜBERGEWICHT, Theater Dortmund AL-HEIMAT, Theaterzentrum Bochum 2016 DIE BORDERLINE PROZESSION, Theater Dortmund
Graduated in stage direction. She is a freelancer stage director and with list of theatre plays especially for children in past few years. She has attended more than seven theatrical workshops also
He is working with ASSITEJ Iran. He has directed and acted in many theatre plays in in Iran with children and young people
He is Master of Arts in art studies with major in theatre arts. He has performed more than ten theatre performances as actor. As a workshop trainer he conducted more than 20 national and international theatre trainings. Also he has participated more than 20 theatre related international and national conferences.
Arts Educationist for development of children and young people, performed in music, dance , theatre, MARIMBA and MBIRA performances. He performed at 11th World of Children’s Theatre Lingen, Germany, Malawi Children’s Exchange Programme, 13th World Festival of Children’s Theatre Lingen, Germany, BQU Theatre Exchange Programme Svedberg Denmark and CHIEZA Children’s Exchange Programme, Zambia
Worked as Actor, Director, Script writer and participated in Colombo International Theatre Festival 2016 and 2017, IPAR International drama festival Pune- India 2017 and Fujairah Art Festival Dubai 2018
Since 2018, member of KRIMINAL DINNER, dine & crime theater, touring Germany and Switzerland. Since 2014: member of CITYTHRILLER, improve-based interactive crime-theater-event. She is working since 2012 as acting teacher for 3rd / 4th grade kids at primary schools. Also teaching adults in theater workshops at theater school KULTION Munich, as well as for kids and teachers at GOETHE institute Spain. She joined acting company THEATER MÜNCHNER FREIHEIT as an actress and writer in 2010

Since 2007, she is working as a drama educator in Drama studio Prazan prostor and since 2015 she is director of NVU Prazan prostor. She directed dozens of plays with children and youth which were performed at many festivals in the country and the region since 2008. In the past nine years, she is the part of organizing team of Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children and she works as editor and coordinator

Completed her Masters of Directing for Performance, VCA, The University of Melbourne. She had directed more than 14 theatre productions within few years. she is also a performer, writer and theatre workshop trainer.
She graduated in Bachelor of Arts and also acquired post graduate diploma in theatre. She is theatre educationist, won best actress awards in state drama award 2018 and all island competition in 2007.
Since 2007, she started her career as an actress, a musical call “Butterfly Love”, Over the past 11 years, she tried different parts of the theater, including the actress, stage management, stage makeup and stilts. She has participated in dozens of different productions in UK, Portugal, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Now she is the president of the “Long Fung Drama Club” from Macau.
