Next Generation Program 2017/18

ASSITEJ Pakistan is committed in engaging young aspiring artists and professional theatre-makers from all over the world interested in TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences).

The Next Generation Programme offer new opportunities every year and include Group Residency Programmes and Individual Placements. The programme is designed to create new opportunities for learning and to enable international exchange and collaboration between young emerging artists.

If you are an emerging artist, storyteller or theatre-maker with an interest in TYA; this is the opportunity for you to learn, work and collaborate with artists as well as experience the 2nd edition of Tamasha Festival in the beautiful city of Lahore – the cultural art hub of Pakistan.

Date: 27th Feb – 4th March 2017

Eligibility:

If you are an emerging artist aged 18-35 with a passion for storytelling and theatre-making along with a track record of making a significant impact in your community, country or organization then you could be part of the upcoming Next Generation programme.

Eligible Regions: Open for all.

What we will arrange for you:

  • Accommodation on a sharing basis for the whole duration of the programme
  • Food
  • Local transportation
  • Exclusive invitation for the 2nd edition of Tamasha Festival 2018
  • Training workshops

Please note:

The ASSITEJ Pakistan Next Generation Programme will be held in the first half of February 2018 (dates will be announced in September 2017)

Application Deadline: 30th September 2017

Successful candidates will be announced in the second week of October 2017.
